Contacts Sync for Google Gmail App Reviews

I’ve been struggling with contact syncs forever. I am so tired of seeing all the duplicates that I can’t fix with Mac’s duplicate merge tool. This utility did the trick, made no mistakes, and it’s really easy to use. Definitley worth the cost to buy the unlimited sync version.

The app works, but they demand your leave them a review everytime you use it. avoid this dishonest crap

This app is amazing. Since Google discontinued there sync I have struggled with the sync issue between my mac(s) and my phone and email. Due to firewalls at work I can not access my iCloud account so I have to use my gmail contacts (and Google is easier from my experience). This left me searching for a sync that worked seamlessly behgind the scenes. I tried many options. THhis one worked. I don’t have many duplicates like I did before. I can save a contact on my phone, computer or email and within 5 mins (thats what my sync is set for) it appears on all my devices. I couldn’t ask for better!

I like using a lot of services that access Google contacts such as Contactually and other various meeting and organizational tools, none of them work with iCloud though. I did not want to switch all of my personal contacts to Google and this app has been a life saver. Thanks!

This product has done a great job of keeping my contacts synced between my Mac and Gogle for many months, now. Beforehand, I had tried a number of other products, but nothing seemed to work with any solidity, frequently resulting in out-of-sync contacts. The 2-way sync seems to work flawlessly. Thank you to the entire team for making a product which seems very solid.

I really like this app. It is the only way Ive found to keep the disparate worlds of Google and Apple in sync. I like that it shows you what its going to do before doing it.

No more fighting with duplicate contacts across my three gmail accounts. It’s all synced automatically from my iCloud contact list. Great app!

This app has been quite useful, but I was very disappointed when the version I previously used with Snow Leopard 10.6 on a separate partition completley stopped working, suddenly complicating the task of keeping that Apple address book sync’d too. Too bad, because it was a perfect solution for all my stuff for a while. Now its only a partial solution. Would be greatly improved if also made directly compatible with Fruux, Microsoft and iCloud address books.

Works well for me. I’m always adding addresses to one or another contact book (Google or Mac). This cleans up after me in a very nice way.

I’ve only had the app for approximately 30 minutes and it is working like a champ - Prior to using the app I went to Gmail and cleaned up my contacts (merged duplicates, deleted some contacts) then I synced my iPhone (w/app) so it reflected the new contacts, then I used the Mac app - now whatever device I am on I have the most current contacts (set 2-way sync to auto). Worth the $3.99 it has saved me more than that in time.

They charge you for each 40 contacts on my list. Rip Off!

I am basically a Gmail person who uses Apple products. Therefore, I need my contacts to sync between the platforms. This allows me to keep my contacts up to date on my Mac. No issues so far.

This program is great and has saved me hours upon hours of keeping contracts organized on both my Macbook, Samsung Galaxy, and on the web!!! could not have asked for a better program!!! Thank you!!!

I must admit that I have very messy contacts in three different Google accounts, in additon to my ones in the Mac. This App is a total mess though. I have now lost half of my contacts :(

I have used this product for years and not only does the product work very nicely, but support when I have a question, is terrific. I like doing business with these folks.

This is a very robust Google Contacts <-> Mac Addressbook / iCloud synch tool. For the 2 years I’ve been dragging my feat to find a replacement for Cobook and have finally found it. I’ve been running this app for about a week and trust it with my contacts, it seems very solid with no weird synch problems. Worth every penny. You have to purchase to test functionality if you have more than somehting like 50 contacts. I took a gamble given reviews and won. I look forward to more features being added over time, like being able to synch with Facebook and LinkedIn (I only care about grabbing contact’s profile photos for my address book and the URL and or handle for a contacts social media site). In my environment I wanted Mac Addressbook and iCloud to be my primary contacts DB. My primary working environment is in iOS and MacOS X. However, I use Google voice heavily so needed my addressbook to synch to Google for Google Voice calling. Furthermore I use Outlook on a Microsoft Windows virtual machine and need my Mac Addressbook to synch Outlook 2013. I achieve this via the following: - iCloud keeps all my Mac OS X and iOS device addressbooks in sync - Contacts Sync for Google Gmail syncs my Mac OS X Addressbook with Google Contacts - gSyncit, a paid for outlook plugin ($19), does a great job synching my Outlook Contacts in a Microsoft Windows virtual machine running on MacOS X synced with Gmail Contacts (gSyncit also syncs my Google calendar to Outlook so I can see my overall availability across personal and work)

This app works very well and as advertised. It saved so much time and mess in organizing my contacts. I definetively recommend it for its price.

I like to do manual sync so I know what is happening. Version 6.3.9 changed 83 contacts which were fine with earlier versions. Not sure why. The UI seems to be somewhat more complicated now with multiple menu levels which seem, to me, unnecessary. That said, I would be lost without this app, so I am happy to deal with the added complexity.

I use this app almost every other day and it simply works. Syncs across all my devices and Gmail just as advertised. Highly recommend!
